Although advances in science and technology have significantly improved the health and well-being of millions of people throughout the world, it has become far too easy for us to overlook the fact that we still know very little about how our bodies actually function. Nowhere is this more evident than our limited understanding our gut flora (gut microbiota) and how it impacts our health. What we do know is that since the 1950’s, the rise of globalization and the production of highly processed (perishable) foodstuffs destined for the global mass market, has led to a general decrease in the consumption of fermented (preserved) products.
At Kōji Europe, we hope to achieve this aim by making it easy for everyone to incorporate fermented foods into their diet, whether meat or plant-based. We do this by creating a range of sauces, dressings and condiments that use Koji as their main ingredient. Our products are available to buy now on this site in kit form and will in the future, be available as ready-to-use products.
